Question by Follow-the-narrow-gate: Drug treatment difficulties anyone?
So… I have started my second round of IOP (intensive outpatient) and I always find treatment difficult. The fact of sitting in a room full of alcoholics and addicts… who are talking about drugs (whether it is good or bad) makes me want to use even more. I am always trying to recover, but talking about drugs always makes me want to use.
Anyone else have these difficulties in treatment or in general ?

yea after listening to an hour or more of whining ex druggie /drinkers sob stories i need a drink. but when you talk out your problems i believe it helps.
