Question by annie: I fear i may relapse i am trying very hard to stay clean?
I’ve had a terrible year. I used to use drugs heavily in the past. I was clean for about 5 years. Then this past year I relapsed for about 3 months and I have been clean since September. I had a lot happen within the last year, deaths in the family, I had a life threatening miscarriage in May (before my relapse), and I had been trying to escape a scary relationship of abuse. Now I’m in counseling have been since August and I still feel “abused”. I really feel so badly traumatized I feel like just numbing myself. I remember the feeling of escape and I crave it so badly. I’m trying so hard. But it is very tempting. I feel so damaged.

Question by jenniebells: How have students with severe disabilities been impacted by No Child Left Behind?
Best answer:
Answer by LDTeacher
I have been a special educator for 30 ears EVERYTHING has impacted these kids!!
The tests that they are required to take have been changed, and the graduation requirements are very different. Hopefully, the tests reflect he needs and and basics that these kids need as adults. but the problem is that the LD or mildly MR kids are the ones who don’t get enough changes in their educational program.
They are expected to do everything that a “normal” kid is supposed to do w/o appropriate adaptions….the whole thing is un fair…there will always be kids who have special needs and just how can we help them??

Question by Amanda: What can Percocet abuse do to your baby during pregnancy?
A girl I know is due in August and has been abusing the pills before she found out and ever since she found out. She has been taking 5-8 a day. The doctor supposedly tells her everything looks/sounds good but I’m doubtful. Could something be wrong with her baby when it’s born? Thanks for any answers. She also has not told her doctor about her substance abuse.
Could the doctor be able to tell anything is wrong through listening to the heart beat? Or any ultrasounds? It’s not fair to make your baby suffer while you get high.
